RE: booster seats/cushions
“Parents should no longer be able to buy backless booster seats – more commonly known as booster cushions – for children shorter than 125cm and weighing less than 22kg.
Previously children weighing as little as 15kg could use them. If you’ve owned a booster cushion since before February 9 2017, you can continue to use it as long as the child is three-years or older and weighs more than 15kg. The law regarding child seats states that children must use them until they are either 12-years old or 135cm (4ft 4) tall, whichever comes first.” – Telegraph.co.uk
Parkway Cars strongly recommends that parents traveling on a airport transfer with young children supply their own child’s seat/s, not only have we found over the years that the children prefer something familiar if they are going on a long trip (eg airport transfer) the parents know how the seat fastens into the cars (as all seats operate slightly differently). It is the parents responsibility to make sure the seat is SECURELY fitted into our vehicles. The Driver will not move the vehicle unless this is done. All drivers have been trained on this matter so please don’t request your driver to move unless done so.
All our vehicles are fitted with ISO fix for your peace of mind and child’s safety.
Parkway Cars can not; and will not be held responsible for incorrect fitting of childseat/s in case of any accident (fault of none fault)
Parkway Cars do NOT charge for storage of yours childs seat and will be kept securely at our office.
